Weight Loss Challenge
We are offering a public service event to inform people on how to live a healthier life. We are holding a community-wide Weight Loss Challenge. It is a twelve week program where participants receive personal coaching, weekly health and wellness education and the entry fee of $39.00 will be paid out in cash and prizes to the BIGGEST weight losers by percentage not pounds & inches – so it is fair for everyone. It is s true healthy competition.
Event begins on March 2, 2009.
Meet at Dayspring Baptist Church 1036 NE “A” street, Grants Pass. from 7:00 – 8:30 PM every Monday evening.

The luncheon for March 6th will be corned beef and cabbage, rolls and desserts. Following lunch we will have an antique/reminiscing time of sharing. Bring some small antiques to share with the group. If you know the history of the antique, sharing that information would be appreciated...what it is (if you know), how old it is, who used it, etc. If you don't know what it is, that's OK and maybe someone there will. We will also be reminiscing about old phrases seldom used any more...ie. fender skirts.
Come enjoy the food, fun, and fellowship.
Midweek Bible Study
A midweek Bible study will be offered at Dayspring Baptist Church each Wednesday afternoon. The study class time will be from 5:45 to 6:45 PM. Study material will be provided. Bring your own Bible. The class will cover seven lessons on “Spiritual Gifts.”
Classes will begin on March 4th, 2009.
Pastor Stan Smith will be the class leader.
Ministry Opportunities
Volunteer; Music leader, Youth leader, SS teaches, and Evangelism leader.

Dayspring Christian School is now accepting enrollment of students 1st -8th grade. School will open September 9th, 2009. There will be limited enrolement. If you are intested in our shcool it is suggested that you inrole your children early.

We have a mission church in Shady Cove, OR.
River Bend Community Baptist Church (RBCBC)
The church meets Sunday Mornings at 9:30 for Sunday school and 11:00 AM for worship service.
also at and at 6:00 PM for worship.
RBCBC Meets at the Upper Rogue Community Center in Shady Cove.
